This just in from Metro-North:
Substitute Bus Service will be provided for the 9:52 a.m. train from Redding making all stops to Danbury. The bus is expected to arrive approximately at 10:45 a.m.
Bus Service will also be provided for the 10:35 a.m. train from Danbury making all stops to South Norwalk. The bus is expected to operate approximately 30 minutes late. Train Service will also be provided for the 10:35 a.m. train and will originate from Redding making all stops to South Norwalk. Please listen listen for announcements at your station.
UPDATE, 10:45 a.m.
Metro-North Railroad spokesman said a tractor trailer got stuck at the Long Ridge Road railroad crossing, right next to the Redding station.

The 9:52 a.m. train from Redding is temporarily delayed due to police activity in the vicinity of Redding, according to Metro North.
The Redding Police are not commenting at this time as to why the train is being delayed.
